Skin mole?

if a skin mole is a different shape does that always spell out cancer? cause mines is a half a cm and my friend said it has to be big

Skin mole?
it does not have to be big. my friend was just diagnosed with skin cancer and her nose had a very small patch that was cancerous.she has since developed small little marks that are the beginning of cancer on arms and face.if you are concerned please go to doctor,stop sun bathing and you a sunscreen every day.I may lose my best friend because all she did was use a tanning bed every day .please be careful!
Reply:shape doesn't matter but if its really dark then u should get it checked for cancer...but if the doctor tells u its benign then good for u :]
Reply:if your moles change and are irregularly shaped you should get them checked out just to be safe.

Reply:Umm i have heard that but im not sure. I think sometimes it can be cancerous but not all the time. My brother just went to a doctor for a checkup and they saw and irregular shaped mole on his stomache and she said that he needed to immediatly get it checked out...so i think you should get it checked out soon just to be sure!
Reply:Go by the ABC's with moles. A- is the Asymmetry of the mole (if one half of the mole doesn't match the other) B- Border irregularity, if the edges are notched or blurred. C- Color if shades of brown or black are present....differences in color and finally! D- is the diameter of the mole , anything bigger than a pencil eraser you need keep an eye on it.








This is a good way to self diagnose and to know when to tell your doctor when something doesn't look right.
