In the majority of cases moles are fine or 'friendly'. You should go to a dermatologist so they can thoroughly examine your skin for signs of cancer. Caught early than skin cancer is curable. Most moles are 'benign' . If you want to have benign moles removed the doctor can do this usually in their office. Sometimes they will slice them off very quickly, or sometimes they can use cryosurgery, which is liquid nitrogen that will freeze the mole and than it will drop off. However, you will first need to go to a dermatologist for a complete body screening.

They will identify any suspicous moles and remove them for biopsy. If there are than any benign moles you want removed they will also do that.

Reply:I don't know go see a doctor
Reply:Go to a skin dr. no one can tell over the internet
Reply:You have to see a dermatologist who will look at each one and remove any that may be cancerous.
Reply:Yes, you should be worried and you should schedule an appointment with a dermatologist. Most "safe" moles grow before a person reaches 18 years old. The formation of many new moles over a short time period (a year) is cause for concern. You don't NECESSARILY have skin cancer, but you should have them looked at for abnormalities in case it's a possibility. Remember, skin cancer is one of the easiest to cure if it is caught early.

There is no "at home" remedy that is safe for removing moles. The only way is at a dermatologist's office, either with a laser or normal surgery. It is painless and quick either way. They just use a tiny needle with anesthetic in the area and you don't feel a thing. You're able to leave the office within 5-10mins afterwards.
Reply:Go see your regular doctor. He/she can reccomend a dermatologist (skin doctor) who will be able to diagnose what is going on. If larger than the tip of a pencil eraser, they will probably scheduele you for surgery to have them removed and then sent to labs to be tested for cancer. If you wait, however, cancer can develop, so try to get an appointment soon.
Reply:I have lots of moles from sun exposure. Usually what a doctor will tell you is that if a mole doesn't hurt or itch then you should be fine. If you are worried about it though, it is always a good idea to see a doctor to give yourself piece of mind.
Reply:Moles are a huge area of concern thanks to lots of hype by undereducated people.

Most moles are fine. Ones that change shape or are very irregular can be a cause of mild concern. Just be sure you have good insuranceor are independently wealthy if you are going to have them removed and tested because it costs abour $500 per mole.

In general, don't worry about it. You will know which ones to wory about.
Reply:you can always get them removed if you dont like having any. it also depends on where you come from. if your irish or scotish then youll have alot of (normal) moles. but i say (like everyone else) see your doctor or dermentologist if your worried about them.
Reply:Moles can be removed. I have many moles (beauty marks) but that doesn't mean that it is skin cancer. Although, moles increase the chance of moles being cancerous. if you are interested in knowing the signs of skin cancer check out this website.
