Do moles cause skin cancer ?

they don't cause the cancer themselves, but they are good indicators as to whether you have it or not. you can get cancer where they are.

doctors say that those with many moles are ust as likely to get skin cancer as those who are very fair complected.

the biggest cause for skin-cancer is too much sun-exposure, especially sunburn, whether you are fair, cover in moles, or anyone.

Reply:If a mole becomes larger then u have to get it checked. Moles can become cancerous. I would say that moles are more susceptible to cancer meaning a normal mole can become cancerous.
