Are they bad to have in any number shape or size? What causes a mole, cause we are born mole free, the sun? My son has about a dozen new moles since the start of summer, is that a reflection of anything? I don't always remember to use sunscreen when he is playing outside but he is very tan and hasn't had but maybe one sunburn in his life. What is the appopriate amount of sun exposure to get the neccesary vitamin D?
What exactly is a skin mole?
Get them checked out if they are new. A mole is a collection of skin pigmentation. They should be symmetrical in shape (equal on both sides). If they have irregular borders , asymmetrical shape , or are black then they may be a deadly form of cancer and must be removed asap.
